I'm implementing container managed security in Tomcat using the JAASRealm. Everything works as I expect it to, but I can't figure out how to get an error message passed from my LoginModule back to my Struts Action class (I specify in the <login-config> that my <form-login-config> pages are .do actions). Is there a way to access the ServletContext or ServletConfig from a JAAS login module?
