I would disagree. I think that "batch" connotes a series of tasks which are executed together, probably in the same sequence, repeatedly. I think that in most catalogs, essentially, the rate and order of execution would be more variable than that.


On the other hand, I think "catalog" connotes a system in which you can look up resources easily when you need them. This seems like a pretty good fit. I particularly don't think that "batch" has any connotation of named members which are extracted from the set for a particular purpose.

But more importantly at this point, there's already been a 1.0 release of Commons Chain, so unless one could make a good case for things being so confusing as to hamper usage, the question is thoroughly academic.
