I'm thinking that a gremlin shouldn't be allowed
that level of security access to your code or
deployed system. Perhaps you should have someone
review your development and production server for
security.

3 quick tips include:

1. Don't chown your files to allow everyone (Gremlins
        included) to write them.
2. Keep Gremlins out of your user groups.
3. Shoot Gremlins on sight but not with WATER GUNS!

David

i will have to respectfully decline!

if i use global forwards that means i will have more coupling between
my code and struts-config.xml. ie. if a gremlin changes the global
forward name, i will have to change the hard-coded global forward name
in my java code. i want to minimize this type of maintenance as much
as possible!
