Servlet 2.2 is tomcat 3.0 This is pretty old version.
Are you sure that it wont even build on tomcat 4.0 , Servlet 2.3??
No, actually I'm sure that it *will* build on Servlet 2.3. But if all you want is a jar, does it really matter? Struts doesn't *depend* on any Servlet 2.3 features, but it does compile against Servlet 2.3.
It's not that Struts wouldn't work in a Servlet 2.4 environment, except if somehow that MultipartServletRequestWrapper got handed to something which wanted to use methods that aren't defined.
