?Looks promising... will this support Trident topologies as well?

The editor use yui, so we don´t need JsPlumb or like. JQuery is a must for all projects that involves javascript at nowadays. When you have the prototype, please, let us know. I'm excited about the possibility of aligning our projects. Regards Adrian P. El 9/11/2014, a las 11:22, Itai Frenkel <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> escribió: Followup question. I am trying to align javascript technologies with your project. Are you using JsPlumb & JQuery ? Are you using D3? We can always align the Json format later on. Currently we will start with the json provided by the visualization rest API as a baseline. thanks, Itai ________________________________ From: Adrian Portabales <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Friday, November 7, 2014 1:53 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: Who is the contact point for the Storm Topology Visualization ? 1. It will be next month. We will announce in this mail list. 2. Yes, but it is own representation of topology. Simplifying, it's a list of spouts/boults with their connections to other spouts/bolts 3. JQuery, yui, nodejs... but for your problem I think with JQuery and a beautiful representation like JsPlumb it´s enough Regards Adrian P. The problem we are trying to solve is how to manage the complexity of the storm topology (it is a very big DAG )... and the answer we came up with is automatic visualization from a JSON that describes the topology. 1. Is your project available on github ? 1. Do you have a JSON format that you use to describe the topology ? 2. What choices have you made in terms of javascript libraries ? Hi Itai, We are developing a visual editor for topologies. Your project sounds interesting for us, what is exactly what you made? We want to publish next month, the idea is you define a topology with visual widgets and you can run it (the framework compile and deploy the .jar in a cluster). Thus i think we can join forces. A little preview: <Captura de pantalla 2014-11-06 a las 13.25.13.png> This is totally functional and we are working for add new spouts/bolts and tons of documentation for the community. Hi, We are dedicating resources (half time intern) to write our own storm topology visualization (graph) needed for internal use. I would like to reach out to the code owner of the existing ui interactive graph, to see if we can align our efforts with other Storm community efforts (or at least align JS technologies). Who is the contact person I'm looking for? Thanks, Itai
