Hi Bernhard, POI code is most used for Excel. Powerpoint support exists but it doesn't have the same user or contributor support. Someone might volunteer to help but I just wanted you to know that delving into the issues yourself is probably a good starting point. If you find and fix the issues, it would be great if you could contribute a patch.
