Hi Apparently, the support for MR jobs was submitted few days ago as part of https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1454 . Would you be willing to give it a stab by building Phoenix artifacts from Git by yourself ( http://phoenix.apache.org/building.html) as the feature is not yet released.
