According to initial issue:

Just have tried with following steps:
1) login as user A
2) enter room of type conference
3) invite user B providing email only
4) enter the link generated into different browser
5) get "Nickname prompt"
6) enter values for first and last name
Result: Display name on video pod has been changed

tested with most recent OM built locally
