the behaviour is only with internet explorer.

So not a real problem. (?)

I have to use IE for some old applications, so I ran in this dark corner. ;-)

Actually clipart works exactly as a rectangle:

1 You mouse down - set left-top point

2 mouse drag - to enlarge/rotate

3 mouse up - set bottom-right point

 

This recursive behaviour might be caused by multiple mouse down/up while dragging

Is it the case?

What browser/os are you using?

When I activate the tool and then clic in the whiteboard, nothing happens.

When I drag the mouse over the whiteboard, the complete contend of the whiteboard will be drawn recursively and zoom out. See attached screenshot.
