Hello Anis,

Perhaps the following might help:

1. When you are running OpenMeetings, is Skype, Viber or any other audio
program also running in the background? You can see whether they are running
in System Tray (bottom right corner) of your taskbar.

2. Microphone is made accessible by your browser. While Skype, Viber are
desktop programs, OpenMeetings is Web browser-based.

3. Recording device: Just to double check, set the microphone you are
using for OpenMeetings to default.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Hemant K. Sabat

Hello Anis,

Please do not write direct emails, write to the user@ list instead.

Maybe you turn on the camera and not the mic?

WBR, Maxim
(from mobile, sorry for the typos)

Hello Maxim, after installing OM 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 from Tutorial i can,t
see sound indicator on camera window. Sound on Ubuntu itself is working, but
not on OM. Also, I tried to change mic setting , no success

Never faced with this issue on other other version of OM.
