Thanks Vasiliy,

Thanks to your mail, I’ve more investigate, and I’ve understood that every time
I create a invitation with e-mail, the “user” is stored in users, so when I
re-invite this same user, openmeetings asks its user list to see if he already
exists.

All the users e-mail that I’ve test were in the list, and at begin, without FN
LN, but email, but with just e-mail there is nothing displayed, that’s why my
users had’nt their names displaying, cause they had only e-mail filled.

So I have deleted all user automatically entered by openmeetings in list, and
tried and invitation with ‘FN LN’<email> and that works, I’have to say the <>
are required, I tough not.

For me the problem is why openemeetings create a user/contact after each this
invitation e-mail, can I disable this feature ?

Thanks,

Clem

I have tested on latest build.
To avoid no name you should enter Recipient as described bellow:

"Firstname Lastname" <email>
'Firstname Lastname' <email>
Firstname Lastname <email>

Thanks,
Vasiliy

3.1.0 is available here (room is not usable at the moment)

https://builds.apache.org/view/M-R/view/OpenMeetings/job/openmeetings/58/org.apache.openmeetings$openmeetings-server/

I'll try to take a look at the name issue

Okay thanks Maxim, so I’ll have to change timezone manually each time I want to
send invitation, not a big deal after all, since a stable 3.1.0 version ? For
the moment I haven’t found a 3.1.0 downloadable, dunno where I can find it.

For the name it’s more a problem :

You can enter first last name in format

"Firstname Lastname" <email>

'Firstname Lastname' <email>

Firstname Lastname <email>

in invitation window

In case name is not entered email should be displayed

do you have steps to reproduce this?

I’ve already tried with “firstname lastname” <email> format, nothing appears on
the name field of user tab : Description :cid:image001.png@01CF9546.5E28DF60

However, if I point with circle on the whiteboard I can see “totoFN totoLN
t...@totodn.fr”

I guess our code is selecting "standard offset" while guessing, not sure how to
add more accurate guess into openlaszlo/js code :(

This code will be removed completely in 3.1.0 :(

What is the GMT offset right now in Paris?

Etc* timezones were "invented" by Apple. According its rules GMT+7 === Etc-7

Re,

I’ve another problem, my default timezone is Europe/Paris in “global”
configuration, on invitation window, the default timezone is ETC/GMT-1 so the
invitation doesn’t work if I don’t change it… Little annoying

How can I change the default timezone invitation display ?

Thanks

Hello,

I’ve installer 3.0.3 openmeetings version, when I invite a user, and when he
joins with the invit url our room, there is no name or mail to identify him.

Is this a bug or a parameter I’ve missed ?

Thanks

Clem
