If you tail the logs as you try and log in what does it show? – I suspect you 
are still not authenticating correctly with DC, the logs should tell you what 
its failing on. (you should also confirm the settings in the config file and 
check the time is the same as the DC)

it also takes any login you give it. it doesn't have to be a NT account to 
login. it can be gibberish.

Subject: LDAP
 
So I have been able to add LDAP for authentication. Once I login I get a 
message that says "Your account is assigned to multipale usergroups. please 
choose one for this session." There are no groups to choose. I choose nothing 
and enter then I get a blank screen with the logo and the stuff on the top for 
profile and logout. What else do i need to do to get this to work?
