Hm Jackrabbit uses Derby as internal DataStore.

you can find the configuration in the jackrabbit.xml:

    <!--
        data store configuration
    -->
    <DataStore class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.data.FileDataStore" >
        <param name="path" value="${rep.home}/repository/datastore"/>
        <param name="minRecordLength" value="0"/>
    </DataStore>

This could be made configurable to avoid problems. I have to check how
it works with PostgreSQL .
