Hi Vanita, If i were you i would upgrade the code of the existing system. If you do not want to do that, check all changes to the /specialpurpose/myportal directory. (svn log command)
then your error message: "No data seed or You may be using old data" is rather strange because I could not find it in the latest trunk.
