Hi Alberto,

Thanks for your report.

To avoid "dirty system", we suggest to uninstall old driver before install
the new one:

http://kylin.apache.org/docs15/tutorial/odbc.html

I reproduced the issue in my powerbi+win7 env. The issue only happens when
you extract KYLIN_CATEGORY_GROUPINGS.CATEG_LVL2_NAME column to powerbi.

For example, run this query:

select KYLIN_CATEGORY_GROUPINGS.CATEG_LVL2_NAME from
KYLIN_CATEGORY_GROUPINGS

Then I found this article from powerbi community:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Connect-to-OBIEE-RPD-using-ODBC-Connection/td-p/33008/page/3

Someone met same issue when he has a big column. Need to confirm whether
this bug is from powerbi or odbc driver.

I created a JIRA for this: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KYLIN-2235

Let's track status and updates on this JIRA.

Thanks,
Dong Li
