Restart ignite on segmentation

Is it okay to start ignite again on a segmentation without restarting the JVM? 
StopNodeFailureHandler will just stop the ignite instance running locally. I am 
running in embedded mode so do not want to crash the server. I've read 
different opinions on this - is there something I should be aware of?
