Hi Alan, All, I saw a thread discussing new Hive 2.3.7 release. Would it be possible to do a Hive 3 release as well? The reason for asking is that there are incompatibilities between the latest Hadoop 3.1 (3.1.3) and Hive 3.1.2 due to Guava incompatibilities. As earlier versions of Hadoop have CVEs this puts projects combining both in a hard spot (e.g. Apache Ranger).
Can I do anything to help to push it given 2.3.7/3.1.3 hasn’t been released yet but I do see RC candidates? Thanks Bolke
