Looks like it is more question to Ranger user-list. I disabled Ranger

Hi
I have kerberos and ranger enabled cluster. Ranger plugins are enabled
on HDFS and Hive plugins.
In case I create external table and Location in HDFS is empty or there
are small amount of files then create table is ok via beeline. But in
case there are loads of files in example 10 000 or more then I can not
create external table via beeline. But I can create it using old hive
client.
So the only difference between hive and beeline (JDBC) clients I can
see that one client just creating meta record to the metastore db
(hive) and another ( beeline) checking file rights from hdfs. I see
from the HDFS namenode loads of auth lines if I try to create external
table via beeline and there are loads of files.
So is it true that during the table creating process beeline checking
file permissions of every file?
