Hi all,
We are using hive for our big data analysis and as a part of
optimization we used the above parameter so that the number of mappers
getting generated will be less as a single mapper can handle more than one
file.
But since we went live with the change we are getting errors like
java.io.IOException: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset "
and
" java.io.IOException: java.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of input stream
at "
These are temporary issues and just rerunning the jobs might
succeed. So i guess it might be an issue with some of the parameters not
getting set properly. CAn you guys help us out ?
