This sounds to me like your corporate network team may be doing something
that is interfering with the traffic. This could be any number of things -
I believe some people in the past have reported that certain firewalls have
settings to shut down long-running connections (such as a HTTP or Websocket
tunnel, like Guacamole uses), or they could be trying to filter traffic and
block items that they believe constitute a risk for data loss or malware
infections (since Guacamole can do file transfers, I'm not shocked that it
would fall into that category in some places).

Outside of network-level things, it also could be items like virus scanners
or malware prevention that could be recognizing the traffic as something of
a threat, again, depending on what types of rules your company is enforcing.

If the environment at that corporation is relaxed enough that you feel
comfortable, you could ask a friendly network admin if they know of any
reason that traffic would be blocked, filtered, etc., otherwise you might
just have to try what you can and see if you can get it working :-).
