As long as you can get the required packages to build guacd, and you can run a 
servlet server like Tomcat, you're good to go.
The documentation mentions Debian based (Debian/Ubunut) and RHEL based systems 
(RHEL/Fedora/CentOS), but you can build it anywhere (I personally use it with a 
docker image based on Alpine).
