Hi, I’m having an issue similar to this issue tracker, but with a different setup which I’m hoping might help get to the root cause. I have Guacamole installed in docker, following these official instructions. The containers guacamole/guacamole and guacamole/guacd are built using the latest tag just today. On an Ubuntu server, I’ve been using the built-in gnome-remote-desktop service. Somewhere along the way with container, Ubuntu and package updates, RDP connections from guacamole to the Ubuntu server stopped working, but I don’t know exactly when or which update triggered the issue. I observe his message in the gnome-remote-desktop logs (the same as in the issue tracker):
I see some discussion in the issue tracker that maybe the user’s install didn’t have necessary packages. However, I’m wondering if my docker install would include the packages in question by default (ruling out that possible cause). Any initial thoughts are welcome. I intentionally kept this brief and can go deeper into exact versions, configurations, etc. as they are helpful. (Sent from mobile) Jacob Chapman Jacob@JNetwork.cloud |
