Hi Matti, Have a look at this: https://github.com/NeCTAR-RC/bumblebee If I understand you correctly this virtual desktop service does what you plan to do, and in Python, even though the platform hosting the VDIs is (a federated) OpenStack and not proxmox. But it’s close enough to give you an idea how it can be done.

At the moment I have only raw sketches of the backend system, which I want to build on python. On the frontend side I have already extended the home page which provides now an additional Section and Form to select the available VDI systems. I am struggeling with the connection of frontend and backend. I know I could launch another Webserver, which is getting the post request from the form, but I would actually like to integrate the execution into the extension. How should I approach this? I am open to switch backend language, if necessary. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Matti Kaupenjohann Fachhochschule Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts Kaupenjohann, Matti FB Informationstechnik, Sonnenstraße 96 - 44139 Dortmund Raum SON-A A007.1 Tel 0231 9112 8603 matti.kaupenjoh...@fh-dortmund.de<mailto:matti.kaupenjoh...@fh-dortmund.de> www.fh-dortmund.de<http://www.fh-dortmund.de> Think before you print!
