Mike, You're my hero. It was a formatting issue in the .yml file (and a misspelled word). I wasn't tailing enough on the catalina.out log file. Had some read/parser issues that I was able to work out after multiple attempts. I started a second ssh session and did tail -f on the catalina.out log file and saw the issues with parsing.
