Guacamole does not read these files, and you can configure it to use whichever hostname you want. Can you explain why Guacamole needs to support any additional fields in order to connect to the server? It is unclear to me why 1) it matters what is in an RDP file at all, since Guacamole cannot and does not read those RDP files, and 2) why you need Guacamole to support this alternate host field? I do not understand from your original thread, or your description, here, how this is useful? You say, "this option is very useful when we want to connect to a server other than the default one," but in Guacamole you could just set up two different connections - one that points to your "default server" and another that points to the "alternate server." It would be helpful if you could describe, in detail (without disclosing sensitive information, of course), exactly how you would expect to use this in Guacamole. Maybe give a brief overview of the network architecture - where does Guacamole run in relation to these servers? How have you configured Guacamole? What isn't working that you think having this additional field would solve? -Nick [1] - https://lists.apache.org/thread/g7tykp8lp3lqczojpn5119f33cp5g3k8 >
