Hi Nick,

We are using Log Analytics and we have the OMS agent installed on the Guacamole
box which is connecting in fine (heartbeat). I have set up a custom log file
with the Catalina out file as the sample file and put the log paths in which I
sent on the original email, but nothing is being picked up from Log Analytics.
We are trying to capture the application logs – client connects, user agent
strings, pages requested etc

Any help would be appreciated If you have set it up yourself or come across it
or point me in a different direction.

Kind Regards,

Hi Nick,

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, Bitnami pushed me to Guacamole haha..

Yeah, I've heard that several times lately related to Bitnami. For actual
Guacamole issues, I definitely understand that - Bitnami is providing a
packaged version of the application and isn't supporting the application
itself. Unfortunately this isn't really an application support issue, this is
how logging for Tomcat is configured in Bitnami's container, and, if they've
changed something away from the defaults they need to provide documentation on
where they've redirected things. A lot of times in containers the logs get
redirected to stdout so that the container management software can capture
them, but not sure if this is true of Bitnami or not.

What, specifically, are you expecting to see/capture in the logs?
