As you can see from the ticket status, that issue is still open and has not been resolved. I believe Mike is working on the items needed to use libssh instead of libssh2, but there have been no changes committed to the main repo and no pull requests, yet. You can also check with libssh2 and see if they've added support for it in a recent commit or release. -Nick
