I'm tempted to make it its own protocol, since it seems to be different enough from regular telnet, but it could probably go either way.
If you're not up to programming in C, that's fine - no pressure at all - I'll be looking at it when I get a chance, too, and will probably need some help testing along the way. I'll let you know. -Nick
