“/usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.a(allcodecs.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `ff_a64multi_encoder' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC” Here is a great “how-to” for installing ffmpeg in CentOS 7. https://linoxide.com/linux-how-to/install-ffmpeg-centos-7 Regards, Jeff From: Amarjeet Singh <[email protected]> Reply-To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Date: Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:34 AM To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: EXT: Re: Preconnection PDU (Hyper-V) support in Guacamole Getting the below errors while compiling STABLE FREERDP 1.1 Linking C shared library tsmf-client-ffmpeg-decoder.so /usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.a(allcodecs.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `ff_a64multi_encoder' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.a: error adding symbols: Bad value collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [channels/tsmf/client/ffmpeg/tsmf-client-ffmpeg-decoder.so] Error 1 make[1]: *** [channels/tsmf/client/ffmpeg/CMakeFiles/tsmf-client-ffmpeg-decoder.dir/all] Error 2 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... So try to run ldd on the /usr/local/lib/libguac-client-rdp.so, and it should have some that is not found, look for those files, and then add them into /etc/ld.so.conf. Add: /usr/local/lib64 /usr/local/lib /usr/local/lib/freerdp And then run ldconfig, it works after this.
