Have you verified that your RDP configuration allows audio to be
forwarded?  There are Group Policy configurations on Windows that control
this behavior - you may need to adjust those.

Also, can you hear audio from the remote system - that is, does playing
audio work, and only recording fails?  Or does playing also fail?

Finally, depending on your browser, you may have to take extra steps to
allow the microphone to be used.  I'm not sure about IE, Chrome, Safari, or
Opera, but I know Chrome has security options that block Microphone and
Camera access by default, and you have to take steps to enable them.
