Hello, We are currently planning a lifecycle upgrade of Apache Avro from version 1.11.4 to version 1.12.2 in our environment.
At present, we are using Flink Avro 2.3.0, which is tested against Avro 1.11.4. Before proceeding with the upgrade, we would like to understand whether overriding the bundled Avro dependency with version 1.12.2 could have any impact on Flink's Avro integration. We would appreciate confirmation on the following: 1. Is Avro 1.12.2 compatible with the current Flink Avro modules (bundled with Avro 1.11.4)? 2. Are there any known functional impacts when upgrading to or overriding with Avro 1.12.2? 3. Are there any breaking changes, regressions, or dependency compatibility concerns that should be considered?
