Flink Support,

  * If Flink TaskManagers are deployed as a StatefulSet in Kubernetes, and
working_dir is appropriately pointed to the same directory on restart
(persistent volume), can the tasks on the failed task manager be recovered,
without having to restart the whole job. (checkpointing is disabled in batch
mode). Flink documentation says that batch mode does not use configured
statebackends and for local recovery to happen, we need to set
state.backend.local-recovery=true. Does this mean that batch jobs don't benefit
from being deployed as stateful set?
  * Is it true that flink batch can only survive job manager failures ? Only
possible true HA?

Thanks
Kanthi
