java.sql.Statement has a 'cancel()' method, so theoretically this is doable. I have no information on how reliable this is with common databases. Also this is not integrated to Cayenne, but it should be possible to do so (if 'cancel()' actually works). Perhaps we can take this to dev@ and discuss how to make it happen?
