By the way I'm runinning a 6 nodes production cluster using 3.11.6 on FreeBSD 12.1/amd64 and I'm very happy about it (thanks Angelo for maintaining the FreeBSD Port!).
I hope your 4.0-beta2 patch will be accepted soon (and that 4.0 goes out of beta soon to) so that I'll be able to upgrade that cluster.
