Dear all I am trying to evaluate the performance of Cassandra and wrote a code to retrieve a complete row ( having 43707 columns) using Thrift and Hector. The thrift client code took 0.767 seconds while Hector code took 0.883 seconds . Is it expected that Hector will be slower than Thrift? If yes, then why are we using Hector and not Thrift?
