Hi,

Cassandra starts JVM as "$JAVA -ea -cp $CLASSPATH...".

Looks like $JAVA is coming is empty in your case, hence the error "exec -ea
not found".

Do you not have java installed? Please install it and set JAVA_HOME
appropriately and retry.
