Hi, I'm using chef for automating some installation tasks on aws. I used infochimp's *"cluster_chef <https://github.com/infochimps/cluster_chef>* / cookbooks <https://github.com/infochimps/cluster_chef/tree/master/cookbooks>/ cassandra " cookbook. But there were some problems with the installation. Infact the package was not installed, though i added the repos manually to the ubuntu sourcelist file.
I would like to install cassandra using apt-get. So i will have to update sourcelist on ubuntu, and run "apt-get update" and then "apt-get install cassandra".
