I just experienced a weird issue where writing a large amount of text to a column caused my script to crash and hang without any error output. I'm using PHP Thrift client and Cassandra 5.1. I did some searching but didn't find anything related to a maximum column value size. Has anyone run into an issue like this before? Any ideas what would cause it?
The data I was trying to write was the contents of [http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/06/computex-2010-wrap-up-tablets-a-windows-7-eatery-and-a-few-mo] from an RSS feed. Thanks for your help!
