So you are not the only one who'd want that feature. 8-)

Inside the report you'll also see an explanation by Peter on why things
are like they are - your patch would break the "reference override"
logic of the <ant> task.

It may be worth to include it as an optional attribute (<ant> has
already so many of them, I know).
