hmm .. does it work with CVS? Actually I do want to start the cvs
commands on my machine (not on the remote machine using sshexec)
connecting the server with SSH .. or ?

You can't do that unless you <exec> the CVS command, as far as I've read so
far.
What OS do you run? If Unix-like (that includes Linux), what shell do you use
(echo $SHELL at a prompt will tell)?
