If you are using this feature, is there any way you can get an ivy managed
dependency that is in the workspace to somehow automatically deploy its jar
into a web project ?
My scenario was
Web project A depends on B
B was a J2EE module dependency/web library and eclipse automatically
compiles changes in B to a jar in A's web-inf/lib when I publish to a
server.
My scenario is now:
A depends on B. A nd B are managed by Ivy/IvyDE. Checkbox on project A is
ticked so that "resolve dependencies in workspace (EXPERIMENTAL)" is set,
so if I refactor something in B the changes are reflected in A.
This is fine as compilation all works OK, but when I deploy to Websphere
the JAR of B that is in WEB-INF/lib is the last one that I manually
published for B (A being set up to pick up the latest .integration version
of A).
Is there an easy or recommended way of automatically publishing a jar of B
to WEB-INF/lib without clogging up my repsoitory full of new versions (I
don't want to publish to an ivy repository every time I make a one line
change in B, but I do want to publish a jarred version for local testing on
a server)
This whole question is really asking how to ape the previous way of doing
things in Eclipse/RAD using module dependencies, where you save something
to B, and everything magically gets jarred and published to the server
running from Eclipse
