I've just released the first public version of my build tool, Schmant.
It is quite similar to Ant, with the significant difference that it uses
the scripting support in Java 6 for its build scripts. Users can write
build scripts in any supported scripting language. Schmant comes with an
Ant compatibility task, making it easy to embed and run Ant scripts.
