I had copied over my lib/optional dir to Ant 1.7.1 current build dir and reported that after successfully building Ant, a macro task threw:
Unable to load a script engine manager (org.apache.bsf.BSFManager or javax.script.ScriptEngineManager)
I verified that I had BSF 2.4.0 js 1.6R5 commons-logging-1.1. Peter Reilly suggested, "Why not use ant 1.7.0?" I just build ant 1.7.0 with the same result. Any tips? -- Jack J.
