Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing application build and deployment
automation solutions.
* Analyze existing customer's build and deployment practices to
develop requirements and design for open source tools.
* Manage and track the resolution of bugs
Required Skills
* Solid Ant expertise
* Excellent shell scripting in languages such as Bourne/bash, perl
* Familiarity with OOP methodology
* Familiarity with system administration (Linux, Solaris, etc)
* Experience with build and test automation tools (Ant, make, maven,
etc.)
* Experience with source code repositories (CVS, SVN, etc)
* Knowledge of distributed application technologies (JSP, Servlets,
EJB, JMS,,.NET, etc.)
* Knowledge of Application Servers (JBoss, Weblogic, IIS, etc.)
* Experience with code and environment promotion
* Strong problem solving skills
Additional Skills
* Cross platform experience (mixed Windows/Unix environments)
* Contribution to open-source projects
* Knowledge of semantic web concepts (RDF/RDQL/Sparql)
* Knowledge of branching, tags, merging
* Configuration management best practices
