I've been having the same problem with trying to unsubscribe. The mailing
list stopped sending me digests and started sending me every message which
overwhelms my inbox.
Nothing has changed with my email account.

Can you post all the mail headers you got? This shows the full email
address that it is sending messages to.
The normal reason mail list managers dont unsubscribe people is that
something changes the from: address so it doesnt match the original
subscription address.
