Something like 'make' pattern rules in Ant?

Hi,

I am learning Ant and would like to write something like a pattern rule as 
used in 'make'. Something like:

%.o: %.cpp
        cc ...

I read the manual but didn't notice something that would do that. Could 
anyone please give me a pointer?
