The <scp> task has no option to preserve symbolic links currently. The <tar> 
task should preserve symbolic links. You can also use <sshexec> to create 
symbolic links remotely.

You build file should do the following:

<tar> the stuff locally that you want to copy to the remote hosts.
<scp> the tarfile to the remote hosts.
<sshexec> to the remote hosts to untar the tarfile.
