Hi,
Thanks for your replies,
My OS is Win 2000 professional,
After setting path to bin dir and classpath to lib dir the previous error ant
is not recognized....command is gone but I am getting following error:

java.lang.InstantiationException: org.apache.tools.ant.Main
        at java.lang.Class.newInstance0(Class.java:293)
        at java.lang.Class.newInstance(Class.java:261)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher.run(Launcher.java:195)
        at org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher.main(Launcher.java:55)

How to fix this?
