javac task attribute for compiling jdk1.5 Project issue

Hi,
Could anyone please tell me the javac task attributes for making the Project 
done in JDK1.5   to be compiled .

I used the task attributes given below,but it does not work.

<javac srcdir="." source="1.5" compiler="modern" failonerror="false" /> 

I am using ant1.6 .Please help.
