hi,

I have following directory structure:

build

dest/lib/de/polonium/..
dest/ejb/access/de/polonium/..
dest/ejb/language/de/polonium/..
dest/WEB-INF/classes/de/polonium/..

src/lib/de/polonium/..
src/ejb/access/de/polonium/..
src/ejb/language/de/polonium/..
src/WEB-INF/classes/de/polonium/..

...

I compile from src to the dest folder with:

build.sysclasspath = ignore
build.target = 1.4
# IBM Jikes
build.compiler = jikes

compile.debug = on
compile.optimize = off
compile.deprecation = on
compile.depend = on

<javac srcdir="${sources}"
       destdir="${destination}"
       classpath="${classpath}"
       debug="${compile.debug}"
       deprecation="${compile.deprecation}"
       optimize="${compile.optimize}"
       depend="${compile.depend}"
       target="${build.target}">
</javac>

after making some changes in lib (lib is needed in CLASSPATH for compiling ejb) I have to clean all compiled classes and compile all again. ejb depends on lib and don't see the changes in lib. and WEB-INF is compiling allways all servlets. WEB-INF depends on lib and ejb.

I'm working with J2SE 1.4.1_01, Jikes 1.18 and Ant 1.5.1

Best Regards,
Rafal
